Fantastic Turkish food with speciality Adana kebab that can’t be found anywhere else in Melbourne!

Taksim Square Melbourne absolutely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a cosy, inviting atmosphere that blends traditional Turkish charm with a modern touch. We ordered few foods including the Adana kebab, and it was truly outstanding, perfectly spiced, juicy, and grilled just right. The flavour took me straight back to Turkey, but to be honest, even during my time in Istanbul, I didn’t find this level of quality and consistency. The freshly baked bread, dips, and sides complemented the dish beautifully, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and authentic. A big highlight of our visit was the professionalism of the staff. At one point, I accidentally knocked over my drink, and without hesitation, they brought me another one free of charge with a smile. That level of care and customer service is rare and deeply appreciated. Portion sizes were generous, prices were reasonable, and the overall value was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to explain the menu, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re craving authentic Turkish cuisine, Taksim Square is a must-visit. Easily one of the best Turkish restaurants in Melbourne. We’ll definitely be back!

Taksim Square is hands down the best Halal Turkish restaurant I’ve ever tried in Melbourne. From the moment we walked in, the ambience was warm and elegant, setting the tone for a fine dining experience that felt both authentic and inviting. The menu offers a rich selection of traditional Turkish dishes — every plate was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. From the freshly baked bread and dips to the perfectly grilled meats and delicious desserts like baklava, everything was spot on. Customer service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and culture. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the quality of food and the overall dining experience. If you're craving authentic Turkish cuisine with a touch of sophistication, Taksim Square is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a fantastic meal here recently and was genuinely impressed. The flavors were rich, the portions generous, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. If you’re visiting, do yourself a favor and order the lamb, it was hands down the best meat we had. Tender, perfectly seasoned, and unforgettable. Will definitely be back! Bonus points for the clean toilet! Always appreciate a place that keeps things clean.

Taksim Square Bakehouse is a spacious and trendy café that quickly makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is relaxed, with good music setting the tone for a comfortable experience. Their coffee is excellent, and the freshly baked bread and cakes—especially the muffins—are standout treats. Food portions are generous, making it great value, whether you’re there for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. On top of that, the staff are consistently friendly and accommodating, adding to the warm and welcoming vibe. Definitely a spot worth visiting or returning to.
